Viewing escapism through contemporary eyes with a background in game design and a love for worldbuilding, set design and storytelling Meijer created an installation; a small building that seems to be ripped from a city street in her self-made fictional world and that has been dropped into our reality. 

The small building serves as a vessel, a gate between our reality and Meijer’s fictional world. The smaller works inside show the travels of an adventurer that Meijer uses just like a playable character in a game to travel and emerge herself in her world.
